"...there is no destination, only the journey itself."

About

Your massage therapist

Hi I'm Denae! I have over 15 years experience as a health care professional, first as a Registered Nurse and later working further 'upstream' dealing with health-related data and reporting.

After spending time away from nursing I began to miss therapeutic interactions with people and found my way to practicing massage. I was awarded a Diploma of Remedial Massage through Evolve College in 2024.

What's with all the apples?

Apples are amazing!

They are a symbol of vitality and healing in many ancient myths. They are nutritious, reduce the risk of chronic illness and improve the health of your gut and brain.

In Celtic mythology people journeyed to the island of Avalon (the 'Isle of Apples') for healing.

As I practice in the Huon Valley - well known for apple production - in Tasmania (the 'Apple Isle') my business name honours my ancestry and my home... and apples.

Services

The path to healing - like the path of life - is often a winding one. It's a journey rather than a destination.

I am honoured to be invited to walk with you on your healing path. I offer relaxation and remedial massage weekly on Thursdays and Fridays, and on Saturdays by appointment. Private health rebates are available.
